FAQs

How do I become a Certified Case Manager (CCM)?
Visit the Commission for Case Manager Certification for full information.

Does membership in ACCM afford me enough CEUs to maintain my CCM or CDMS certification?
If you submit all of the CEU home study programs offered in CareManagement, LitScan, and PharmaFacts, you will accumulate 120 CEUs every five years. Currently, only 80 CEUs are required in each 5-year period.

Are CEUs available online?
Yes, for ACCM members excliusively.

How long does it take to receive my membership number, and membership expiration date?
Approximately 2 weeks from the time you make your dues payment. Should you need the information sooner, contact Member Services. Your membership year begins when you join.

How long does it take to process CEU exams?
Normally within 4 weeks. It could take up to 6 weeks during peak CCM/CDMS renewal periods so plan accordingly.

Do CEU programs expire?
Yes. You must complete the program by the expiration date printed on the exam. That date is 3 months from the issue date of the publication. This procedure assures that the information is current.

Is your Website secure for dues payment?
ACCM uses the secure services of PayPal, the nation's premier payment processing system. No financial information or credit card numbers are transmitted to ACCM.
